How I test
- A written test plan first, so coverage is decided before anything is clicked.
- Testing on the live site with write requests blocked, so no real data could change.
- Before-and-after data comparison to prove nothing moved during testing.
What I covered
- Storefront, categories and checkout.
- Wallet payments, refunds and orders.
- Invoices and tax documents.
- Referral withdrawals and payouts.
- A 58-screen admin panel, tested button by button.
- Legal pages and the Play Store listings.
How I report
Every defect gets a severity, the evidence, the expected result, an owner and a status. I use a four-step scale:
- S1 Blocker: stops the business or loses money.
- S2 Major: a key flow is wrong or unsafe.
- S3 Minor: works, but badly.
- S4 Cosmetic: polish.
What came out of it
- A defect log of 60 items, ranked by severity.
- Developer-ready bug reports, including the cause of wallet orders being auto-cancelled.
- An audit of a 372-product catalogue, and live stock matched to paper registers.
- Drafts of the legal pages: Terms, Privacy, Refund and Shipping.
Detailed findings stay confidential to the client.
